Kelly Hurley is Associate Professor of English at University of Colorado at Boulder, where she teaches Victorian literature, film, popular culture, and literary theory. Dr. Hurley is the author of The Gothic Body: Sexuality, Materialism, and Degeneration at the Fin de Siécle (1996, rpt. 2004) and is currently finishing a book project on horror film.
