Critical Voices Conference 2015

The GSEA is now accepting submissions for its annual graduate student conference. The GSEA welcomes both individual paper proposals and proposals for panels (three-related presentations) on topics related to literary criticism, literary theory, cultural studies, material criticism, composition and rhetoric, technical communication, English pedagogy, poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction. Papers/readings should last no longer than 15 minutes.


The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2015. The conference committee will notify applicants by March 5, 2015. Authors accepted to the conference will receive further information about payment and travel arrangements. No registration fee will be required for UNT GSEA members in good standing. All other participants must pay a $25 registration fee (early registration) or a $30 registration fee at the conference. Registration fees cannot be refunded.


Authors may submit an abstract of 250 words (for a piece of literary/cultural criticism) or an excerpt (for a creative piece).
