Dr. Pettit, University Distinguished Teaching Professor, joined UNT's faculty in 1991. He specializes in the study and teaching of modern drama and has recently published essays on Eugene O'Neill, Tennessee Williams, Luis Valdez, Caryl Churchill, and American Indian drama. Dr. Pettit particularly enjoys teaching upper-division undergraduate courses.
