Gavin Cox, MBA, MS is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Literature from The University of Texas Dallas. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from The University of Texas Austin in 1990 and a Master of Business Administration from The University of Texas Dallas in 1995. After twenty years in the corporate world where he excelled in Information Systems and was a CIO for several organizations, he earned a Master of Arts in Literature from Southern New Hampshire University in 2018. This was the first step toward achieving his dream of being a professor of literature at the university level. Gavin currently is a Teaching Associate with The University of Texas Dallas and is in his third year of teaching Rhetoric to undergraduate students.

When he's not reading and working on his dissertation he can be found cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys or Texas Longhorns.
