Nikki Lyssy is a proud alumna of the University of North Texas English program, where she graduated with a concentration in creative writing. She is currently pursuing her MFA at the University of South Florida, where she is working on a collection of essays about her life as a person who is blind. When she isn't reading, writing or teaching, she can be found outdoors or in a coffee shop. She is immensely grateful for the UNT English department and its influence on her life and career.
