The Graduate Students in English Association at the University of North Texas is an organization dedicated to promoting the success of all graduate students in English at the University of North Texas. Our goal is to foster a healthy graduate student body through community, professionalization, and support.

GSEA provides a community for graduate students through diverse social activities and unique events. GSEA is a great place for new graduate students to make connections and returning graduate students to maintain community.

Professionalization is an important part of formation for graduate students. GSEA offers strategic professionalization through afternoon seminars and lectures with experienced faculty and doctoral candidates. We also offer numerous numerous weekly sessions where students can get together and share ideas, writing, and teaching skills. Whether you need resume advice or help finding funding for research and travel, GSEA is here to help.
